FX Tree Guard is a Class A Fire Retardant. The Prevention and safety are the first steps in defense against holiday fires; protect your family, home, property, and animals. FX Tree Guard is a spray-on fire retardant that helps prolong the ignition of the treated material, for example, sparks or embers from a fireplace, space heater, or cigarette butts.

​Spanish moss, Live cut Christmas Trees, wreaths, and garland. FX Tree Guard is used in homes, Schools, Office Buildings, Day Cares, etc.

FX Tree Guard chemical formulation will help prolong the ignition of live-cut Christmas Trees, garlands, wreaths, and other natural materials. FX Tree Guard fire retardant will help to keep your Christmas tree greener for up to 2-3 weeks longer and may also help with needle retention.

After applying it to the exterior of your trees (1 quart will treat an average 7 1/2-foot tree), if you have fire retardant coating left over, pour it into the base, and the tree will absorb it. When using water at the base of your tree, use distilled water. You can treat all species of Christmas trees: Fir, Scotch pine, Eastern Red Cedar, Fraser Fir, Noble Fir, White Spruce, Blue Spruce, and many others. Flocked trees must be treated with FX Tree Guard FIRST, then flocked.
